25th August 2011 – Midas becomes an APSCo Member
Midas Rec2Rec has become on of the few Rec2Rec businesses to attain membership of The Association of Professional Staffing Companies. APSCo is the professional body representing the interests of recruitment organisations engaged in the acquisition of business professionals, on behalf of their clients, either on a permanent or flexible basis. To candidates and employers it provides a guarantee of excellence, best practice, quality, integrity and expertise.
12th August 2011 – Midas Rec2Rec becomes an IRP Advocate
Midas Rec2Rec becomes the only Rec2Rec to be appointed as an Advocate of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. All Midas Rec2Rec Consultants have IRP memberships. The Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) was founded by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) in 2009 to meet the ever increasing needs of professionals who deliver the UK’s recruitment services.
25th July 2011 - New Hire – Sean O’Brien
Midas Rec2Rec has appointed Sean O’Brien as sales manager. O’Brien joins following four and a half years as managing consultant. He will be manage the sales team as well as supplying Rec2Rec services into the finance, procurement and legal sectors.

May 2011 – Richard Clarke elected as the REC’s Rec2Rec Chairman
Richard Clarke, Midas Rec2Rec’s Managing Director has been elected as the Chairman of the REC’s Rec2Rec sector group.
Clarke says “The Rec2Rec sector group provides a unique opportunity to tackle the issues affecting the R2R sector and to help its members be leaders in the field. In order for the group to achieve these goals it is crucial that our members and members of the wider REC community engage with the group to help inform, guide and measure its activities”.
